Recruitment Entrepreneur and James Caan CBE invest in Exeter-based high growth SME recruitment specialists, King Recruit.
James Caan CBE’s award-winning investment firm Recruitment Entrepreneur is pleased to announce the partnership of its newest joint venture, King Recruit. Based in Exeter, King Recruit work with high-growth SME businesses in the South West helping them to build teams and drive success.
And…..here’s where Helen met James himself!! They discussed the most important thing SME’s can do to grow their business and the impact of people working from home.
Following a successful 10+ year career in recruitment enjoying positions at global companies such as Blue Arrow and Randstad, MD Helen Plumridge launched King Recruit from her small home office in 2015 whilst also raising two young children. Since its inception, King has gone from strength to strength moving into their own offices at Pynes Hill in Exeter and placing over 200 people in careers. In January this year, Helen expanded King Recruit with the addition of King Executive to assist clients with more strategic, high-performing positions, placing business leaders into leading businesses so that they can achieve a high-performance culture and superior results.
In partnership with Recruitment Entrepreneur Helen now plans to develop the group even further with the addition of King Tech, King Sales, King Finance, and King Digital over the next 12 months. Helen said of the joint venture “I’ve always had this unrelenting passion to build a multi-award- winning recruitment and search business for the South West business community and now with investment and backing from James Caan and the expert team at Recruitment Entrepreneur we are well on our way to achieving that”
