Earlier this year we were thrilled to go into partnership with James Caan CBE’s award-winning investment firm Recruitment Entrepreneur, one of the most successful private equity investors in start-up to scale-up recruitment businesses. King Recruit works with high-growth SME businesses in the South West helping them to build teams and drive success, so the partnership was an ideal opportunity.

Helen Plumridge, our MD, launched King Recruit in 2015, an ambitious, independently minded recruitment and search agency, covering Exeter and the whole of the South West championing women in leadership and ultimately helping clients drive success. In January 2021 Helen also launched King Executive, a search partner assisting clients with more strategic, high-performing positions. Helen now plans to develop the group even further with the addition of King Tech, King Sales, King Finance, and King Digital over the next 12 months.

Helen met with James online where he personally welcomed her to the Recruitment Entrepreneur family. Helen took the opportunity to find out more about her business partner and over the next few weeks, we will be sharing insightful snippets from the meeting through a series of mini video reels.

In the first video in the series, James explains that he chose Helen and King Recruit as a business partner because he invests in people and its people that create businesses.
