Director of People

THE BRIEF

A PE Backed business seeking their first Director of People, to drive further growth, business objectives and positive change within the organisation. The individual needed to be a strong influencer, with proven experience in building a high performance culture, implementing an Employee Value Proposition and enhancing future hiring capability of leaders across the business.

THE PROCESS

King Executive kickstarted the campaign with an intensive talent mapping process across the whole of the UK. Over 100 potential HR/People professionals were contacted initially, filtering down to a list of around 20 individuals, that had both excellent communication skills, and the expertise required. This followed a recorded video interview process to narrow down the field, strengths assessments, and a shortlisting process involving the leadership team of the business.

THE RESULT

The successful individual was chosen based on a very close match of cultural values, highly engaging communication skills and expertise across a range of fast paced and progressive businesses. The whole process took place remotely, and the candidate will onboard remotely whilst in the process of relocating to the Southwest.

The whole process took 7 weeks from start to finish.
